Boolean – модификатор, для «вырезания» одного объекта, из другого. Есть несколько методов «вырезания».
Build – применяется для создания анимации «построения» объекта, буквально по полигонам! Для лучшего эффекта, стоит применить модификатор Subsurf (о нем читайте ниже).

Cast –
Curve – с помощью этого модификатора можно «вытянуть» объект по кривой (BezierCurve, NurbsCurve).
Decimate – модификатор, для изменения (уменьшения) детализации объекта. Единственный его минус – это то, что он автоматически разбивает всю модель на треугольники. Хотя, для некоторых это, наоборот, плюс.
Displace – с помощью этого модификатора можно изменять геометрию объекта по нужной вам текстуре. Применяется при создание воды, ткани и т.п. без физики.
EdgeSplit –
Explode – модификатор для эффекта взрыва. Используется в совокупности с системой частиц (Particle System)
Lattice – модификатор, для изменения строения объекта, в соответствие с положением вершин решетки (Lattice, space>add>Lattice)
Mask – Посмотрите на изображения, и, надеюсь, все поймете. Честно говоря, я не совсем понимаю, зачем этот модификатор нужен.
MeshDeform –
Mirror – этот модификатор применяется при создании симметричных моделей (люди, машины и т.п.). Сначала создается одна половина объекта (левая или правая), а потом с помощью этого модификатора, «отзеркаливается».
ParticleInstance – этот модификатор используется вместе с системой частиц. Заменяет частицы Mesh объектами.
Shrinkwrap –
SimpleDeform – модификатор, производящий простые деформации с объектом. Скручивание (Twist),
